ABSTRACT

Online and offline blended learning is the key link to change the teaching mode of higher education. As a new teaching mode, it faces problems such as too much emphasis on students' autonomous learning ability, inadequate supervision of students, and difficulty in building a holistic view of the medical system when applied to medical education. To better promote the reform of blended learning in medical colleges and universities, it is necessary to take the following actions: designing the course content carefully and scientifically arranging the length of online lectures; adopting various ways to follow up in all aspects and building a "whole course" supervision system; always maintaining a holistic view of medicine throughout the blended learning to cultivate comprehensive talents.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To investigate the efficacy of the green tortoise exploring point technique for treating piriformis syndrome. Methods: Ninety patients were randomly allocated to a green tortoise exploring point treatment group of 30 cases, an acupuncture control group of 30 cases and a hydro-acupuncture control group of 30 cases for clinical observation. Results: The symptoms improved after treatment in all the three groups. The total efficacy rate was 100.0% in the treatment group, 76.7% in the acupuncture group and 83.3% in the hydro-acupuncture group. There were statistically significant differences between the three groups (P<0.01, P<0.05). Conclusion: The technique of green tortoise exploring point is better than conventional acupuncture and hydro-acupuncture in treating piriformis injury syndrome

ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the effects of tetrandrine(Tet) on proliferaton and apoptosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line CNE.Methods:CNE cells were divided into groups and treated by Tet at different concentrations.Inhibitory effects of tetrandrine were determined by MTT assay. The morphologic changes of CNE cells were observed by transmission electron microscope.DNA fragmentations were determined by gel electrophoresis assay.Cell apoptosis was investigated by flow cytometer. The expressions of apoptosis-related genes were detected by retrotranscriptase polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).Results:Tetrandrine possessed inhibitory effect on CNE cell proliferation in a concentration-dependent manner(P

ABSTRACT

A nucleotide diversity in DNA sequence is called polymorphism, which results in intersubjects variation in therapeutic drug effects and toxicity.Clinical studies were found that a single nucleotide polymorphism influenced response or drug toxicity in cancer chemotherapies, which were based on 5-fluorouracil,Irinotecan,platinum and so on.This review will focus on the recently development in the relation between drug effects or toxicity and polymorphism.
